The KOBOLD flow meters and switches, models UVR and UTR for liquids and air operate on the variable-area (suspended float) principle: that is, the installation position is vertical and the direction of flow is from bottom to top.
These rotameters have been designed as simple, thus economical measuring systems. The float for the UVR and the UTR is made of PVC, PTFE or stainless steel, depending upon media and range with the indication point at the top of the float. The flow meter is available with or without a needle valve.
